CoughDrop allows users and supervisors to record messages or notes as part of a user's log. Notes can be useful for recording the results of a session or for messaging everyone connected to the communicator about an event or observation.
Since each user manages their own communication preferences, CoughDrop is a helpful way to message the entire support team without having to track down email addresses or phone numbers.

Add a new note
To record a note for a user, access their profile page. This can be done from the dashboard of a supervisor, just select the communicator you want to record a note for.
Select the "new note" option in a student's menu on your dashboard. Open the "extras menu" next to a communicator's name on your supervisor dashboard and select "new note" to message the team for that communicator.
Check the box to choose whether to notify other supervisors of this message or whether to send the message to the communicator (the message will appear as an alert in their speak mode menu and on the "updates" section of their dashboard).
New note through the account page
You can also add a new note through the account page of a communicator. Open the "extras" menu and select "new note or select "logs and messaging" from the option on the account page.
You can be sure you are on the correct communicator's account page by noting the communicator name and icon at the top of the page (this page is for "Albert Model").
Add a note on the logs and messaging page
On the "logs and messaging" page you can use the "add" menu to select the option to add a new note. Again, note the user information at the top of the page to be sure you are on the correct communicator's account.
After you have written the note, you can optionally check the "Notify others of this message" box to send this note to the communicator and all of their supervisors. An email or other notification will be sent to all users connected to the account once the note is saved.
