How do I change button sensitivity in CoughDrop?

CoughDrop tries to accommodate different motor capabilities with various button sensitivity options. You can trigger button selection immediately, only after a minimum amount of time, or after a delay even without releasing the touch or click. For individuals with fine motor control concerns you can specify whether to select the button where the user started selection, or where they ended up. Button sensitivity and response settings are configured as a per-device setting.

Open Preferences

Access to the Preferences page by hitting the profile icon in the top right corner and selecting "Preferences".

Button sensitivity options

There are multiple button sensitivity options available. You can choose to have buttons activated immediately upon click or touch, you can require buttons be pressed for a certain amount of time in order to count, and you can set buttons to be pressed even without a release after a certain delay. You can also specify whether selection should occur based on where the touch or click either started or ended, to help with various motor control issues.

Once you have finished configuring be sure to hit "Save Preferences" to persist your changes.
